The F1 Post

The sweltering weather, the blazing hot sun, the endless chatter in myriad of languages, the temporary deafness you experience after watching a race, the sunglasses, the angmohs and the japanese people who always seem to look lost without much effort, the datos and ambassadors, the super rich kids who are left unattended to spend as much as they wish, the air-conditioned mobile toilets (weird I know), DSLR snobs, the weird people who snap pictures of you when you are busy working, the language barriers... and the endless supply of cold water and homecooked food by our temporary mum of a manager. haha.

And her muffins.
Mustnt forget the muffins.
I adore Anne's muffins.

....The alarm clock going off at 4.45 am,the early mornings spent at Cititel's hotel's toilet, the melting make up, the super nice drivers Ben and John, the silence you get before the start and end a day, being stuck at MV til 9.30pm due to the long taxi line, the USD based transactions, the brown envelope with our crisp rewards, Our angmoh managers, Gerald, Graham, Peter and Sarah (english and swedish), the amusing and weird customers from all over.

japanese. english. spanish. macau(ians?). hongkies. korean. swedish. australian. kiwis. indonesian. thai. singaporean. american. chinese. russian. qatarian. filipinos. mexican. italian. peruian. vietnamese.

and godknowswhere else.

These would be the ways in which I can sum my experience working during the recent F1 in Sepang from the 21-23. Nolah I wasnt working as the umbrella lady (pit queen isit?). I was working as a promoter. There is a difference okay?

Umbrella ladies get paid to look as hot as possible while holding an umbrella while we get paid to work ma.
Pun intended. The weather was crap.

I had at least 7 bottles of water everyday to keep myself from looking like a dry wrung out sponge. Dehydration had sent many girls off to the St John's booth before. Dont underestimate the weather, boss told us two girls fainted during the melbourne F1 a few week earlier. o.0 freaky.

Point is, neverunderestimate the joy inducing effect of a bottle of ice cold H2O.

Anyway, the experience was great. The food and transport was provided. Pay was good. We got to watch the race for free. The angmoh managers were damn nice: they said thank you even though you are a staff. The food was good. We had breakfast, lunch, tea and jelly and fruits and salad and dessert and muffins.

Goodness.

Tiring as it was, I learnt alot. The whole experience had widen my perspective, broke down some of my personal stigmas and ideologies and made me a new fan of muffins.

Nyammm.

Anyway, enough of grandmother greatgrandmother stories, away with the pictures. Courtesy of coworkers since I didnt bring my camera.

I promised hot cars, hot guys and hot chicks right? Okay here they are:

HOT CARS

Being hugely ignorant of this sport, I didnt know there were so many kinds of races before this.

Massa.. before he flew off the track. Poor dude he was leading after kimi raikkonen. Must have been a blow to ferrari.

Not very hot. But also car. The stimulator thingy at the Petronas booth.

I think this is from the BMW sauber team.

HOT GUYS

Due to lack of hot guys, we were forced to have to make do with him.

Oh well.

Valerie and the BMW guy poster.

Nolah, there were plenty of eye candy for both male and females.
Ladies, please sediakan tissue.
...
...
...

I was seriouslah. Meet Carlos and erm.. forget hisnameliao.

My colleague, cassy with the twin brothers from the ferrari booth.
They are spanish.

OMGOMGOMG I wanted to kill her out of jealousy when I saw this picture.
Say go toilet but then go take picture with hot guys wtf.

T.T

Nevermind next time I go spain I'll stalk them.

Neh. I think this is Kimi Raikonnen's.
Sorry Vyonne this the closest shot of kimi lah haha.
Only people in the grand stand can see them upclose.
And those tickets are around 2 grand.
haha 2 grand is too grand for us.

Sorry, la

No point complaining la I got free entrance.
Amen.

And last but not least.. hot girls. But for some reason I cant seem to see any REALLY hot girls la. Pretty ones got alot la. But hot.. I dont know la. Its malaysia and you know..we have restrictions on this kind of things.

(please roll eyes and insert non-committal shrug here)

They didnt have the infamous ferrari girl in her red dress, devil horn and trident. Sadla they told me she came last year. I wonder what drove her away..

Oh well, guess you all have to settle with me and my colleagues. Since its their cameras and pictures. My computer's bluetooth system is PMSing and refuses to let me to access to my pictures on my phone.

Technology sucks sometimes.

Malboro gal. with cassy again.
They are primary classmates. lol.
Ironic la they are sellin cigarattes but the sign behind says no smoking wtf.

10 of us.
Interesting bunch.

Try guessing which girl matches with the description la.
-part time model. modeled for thomas and guys
-eurasian. chinese+portugese+punjabi
-UM student studying linguistics.
-chemical and biology student who is now working in a bank
-ex full time model who now is working in a bank
-tour guide

Whats the difference with taking a picture with a mercedes here and a mercedes we see on the streets?
Dunno.

(Actually I would rather take pictures of mini coopers)

Since everyone take, I also take lah.
For memories.

Jangan tanya mengapa kaki aku teramat pelik sangat.
I feel weird in skirts la. I like jeans :)

They said we look like sisters in this picture.
Haha. they must be blind.
Oh yeah her name is SuYen.
Sweeeeet gal.

Her real sister haha.
Also very pretty.

Mastered the skill of stoning while smiling. Interesting.

Meet my make up buddy in the mornings, Valerie.
Before we took this picture, she told me:
"eh must take a picture together so can show off to mun pui"
Mandy, please forgive us.

I will miss hanging out with you in cititel's toilet at 6 am.

And you complaining that the hotel staff stared at us funny..
ayam not so hardworking wake up at 6 am okay?
hahahahahaha.

Although I had learnt alot in the process, there are two things that still escapes my understanding.
1.The fuss about mascara, eyeliner and lipsticks. I think they are so troublesome to put on.
2.Why people pay so much to watch the F1. I nearly feel asleep during the race lah.

But one thing's for sure
Having around 4 hours sleep for three days straight makes one feel constipated, bloated and unpretty all the time.

I was so happy to be reunited with more normal hours of sleep after the three days.
I still am.

The grandstand where all the socialites gather.
Picture taken after the race.
Goodbye Grandstand.

And good morning people!

Classmates: Please digest these facts

Anyway, just wanna share these few facts with you regarding our advanced diploma cum degree program which was explained by Ms Wong briefly today in the lecture hall.

Due to several issues which have been nagging me about this program recently, I decided to stay back to get more specific details regarding the program. Yes, although I had went over to the SBS office to inquire about this before with some of my classmates, there are some things which have still been bugging me. Issues which I need to lay to rest. Questions which I need answers to.

And indeed I got some rather disturbing facts.
The fact that some of the things which was said by the SBS officers does not tally with what Ms wong had comfirmed with me.

Wont go into details about the whole thing but here are some of the answers which I hope which might help everyone.

This is the interview done by Ms Wong to another Ms Wong. hahahahaha wtf so disturbing.

1. The 30k for the final semester in UK, what does it include?
Accomodation, food and studies.

2.What do we exactly study in JMU considering we already go through with the ICSA and advance papers here?
We shall be taught 5 additional modules which are not in our syllabus.
(she told me but I forgot. Something about international marketing..and such. damn random)

3. So means there will be exams?
Yes, there will be exams. But Ms Wong told only 5 students failed them before.
cause the hard part of the whole program is done for the ICSA.. hmm.

4.Lets say the weather in england made us incredibly stupid and we failed, so does that mean we need to stay back to resit the papers there?
No. All thy resit-ing will be done back here.

5. Lets say of we proceed with the advance program and decide that we dont want to go to JMU for the last semester, we are left with a advanced diploma qualification. Is this accepted by the employers as a degree paper or? And what if we want to proceed to obtain our masters after this?
No. advanced diploma is still an advance diploma. She told me the starting salary varies tremendously. 1.6k and 2.2 k. hmm..

To proceed to masters, one have to go overseas as local universities and college do not recognise the advance diploma cert. However, you dont need to redo your whole degree again. Just proceed. However this depends on the institution which you enrolled.

I dont think many people know thisla.
TALK ABOUT DISTURBING. Niaseng what if they dont recognise then how?!

So I asked Ms Wong, the point is that if you proceed with advanced diploma, you still need to go overseas? That means even if you dont go for the short semester, if you want to continue your studies to a higher level, you need to proceed overseas yo.

She pondered for awhile and said yes.
I thanked her for being so honest with me.

(Yala I so kepoh ask so far. But one can never be too safe can they? To know more is better than not knowing anyway.)

6.The short semester in UK is 3 months. However the student pass can last up to 6 months. Can we work there? Is it legal?
The lady at the office told me its legal. But Ms Wong told me actually its illegal for students to work. Haha but so far no one has been deported lalaala. :P

7.So is this cert recognised in the UK? And other places?
She told me its recognized. But just to be sure, I checked the education UK website. It is listed. But the linked died on me.

8. How bout loans?
For advance diploma, one can get loan of 13k from ptptn. Or 10k from the tarc internal loan. Which is interest free.

Kojadi loan can be obtained for the short semester. However you need to buy kojadi shares. (I forgot the minimum amount sorry) The loan need to be repaid within 8 years maximum. The interest rate will be 7% first year, 8% second year and 9% for the subsequent years.

8. There has been rumours about Tarc offering their own degree. Is this true? Does that mean tarc will be changed to university status?
Yes. Perhaps by 2010. But not really comfirmed yet. But there will be a degree program in the future. The question is just when it shall be implemented.

And tarc will still remain a college. Cause the college authorities have their own reasons. Something to do with the losing the funding from the government if they were to upgrade the status to university thus changing the to fully private college as opposed to the current half private status.

===========

I think the rest she had already told us la.

Anyway, if you people got more random questions to throw at her, please proceed to room R111 to give her a headache with your weird questions.

IS the grass greener in the UK? the sky bluer? And are the angmohs as leng zai as prince william? What is the legal age to enter a pub?

Ps: Dont ask me where I am going after this. I havent made my choice.. yet.
Procrastination at its best indeed.

Feel the silence
by the goo goo dolls

You lie awake at night
With blue eyes that never cry

All you remember now
Is what you feel
The truth remains
In midnight conversations

I asked for this moment
But you turned away

Sad like a lonely child
Broken the day you're born

I held the light to you
But I was so vain

And you remain
A promise unfulfilled
I asked you for more
but you pushed me away

[chorus]
And if we feel the silence
Holding this all inside
Everything means more now than
Words could explain
And if we feel the silence

Holding this all inside us
Looking for something more to say

I don't know where I'm going
Only know where I been

But you move through my soul like a hurricane wind
We've been so lost for so long

I don't know how to get back again
And we're drowning in the water
That flows under this bridge

When you're fighting the current
You forget how to live

And I wanted to reach you but I don't know where to begin
And you remain
A promise unfulfilled until today

[chorus]
And if we feel the silence
Holding this all inside
Everything means more now than
Words could explain

And if we feel the silence
Leaving this all behind us
When it's gone what will you say

How do we hold on
How do we hold on
How do we hold on
How do we hold on
How do we hold on

You lie awake at night
With blue eyes that never cry

One of my most favorite bands. I love every single particle of their existance. :)
They write such awesome songs.

I dedicate this post to everyone who is feeling lost and directionless recently.
I dedicate this post to those who feel stuck.
This includes myself.
Perhaps sometimes all we need to do is to temporarily cut ourselves from the world to search for what we want?
I. Dont. Know.

All roads lead somewhere. This I know. But where?

Smile.

The way your face breaks into that brillant dimpled smile fools me not anymore. For behind that smile, behind those pretty dangly shimmery earrings and the sweetness which all of you project, there lies characters so manipulative, so complex to the point where it just leaves me speechless and awed by the level of pretentiousness, the pettiness and the sheer lack of objectiveness for the things which you all deem to make sense.

I see no reason to understand your lack of understanding towards others.
After all, you see no one other than yourselves in this whole brilliant scheme of things.

People do not exist to do to your bidding my dear princesses.
Just because you work your charm and flash that brilliant smile of yours.

Smile at me. Smile and tell me things will be alright. Smile and tell me to fuck off.
I’ll gladly do so.

And I’ll tell you that your smile don’t look so pretty to me anymore.
***********

# Girls, please don’t use your looks to manipulate people to do donkey work for you. It’s a bad habit that’s hard to break and eventually you start using it on people of the same sex. That’s when things get messy unless of course you work your charm on a lesbian.

Oh wait, that’d be even MORE messier.
Opps.

You are beautiful, you are strong and you have brains. Why don’t you cherish them and put them to good use instead of using them to come out with schemes to get people to do things for you?

Ps: This post is something I have wanted to express for a long time but just cant. Blame the lack of words. And yes, perhaps the lack of inspiration?

PsPs: I knew this whole hiatus idea is wrong. I have such sort term attention spans. I always end up drawing when I should be studying. End up taking pictures in class instead of fully focusing. When the class is draggy, I have this urge to drag myself out of the room. Half the time I don’t really need to go to the loo or refill my bottle also. Just go out so I wont be bored out of my head. And I hardly really remember where I put my keys, it just drives my housemates mad. Haiihh.
At least I managed to be anal long enough to rearrange my blog links in alphabetical order yo.

Lectures on life

Been looking back on my past entries and I realised that my entries are becoming more and more self absorbed. Me, me and more me.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

(yawn)
Tsk, its like watching a one woman soap opera.
Albeit a very very boring soap opera.
Well, I say enough.

Thus today, I shall NOT be taking anything that has to do with me. Instead I will be talking about the random interesting/thoughtful/funny/stupid things which my lecturers have said during their classes. This list of course is complied through memory and is randomly arranged cause I have very selective memory. Especially for remembering nonsensical things.

Okays here goes nothing.

"Today we shall be talking about Taufu debts and Char Siew interest"

and

"FAMA bank!"

-Quote Mr Soo, Intro to Accounts Lecturer, Semester 1

LOL. I'll always remember this guy. Funny man, though has an uncanny way of wandering off topic and mispronouncing some words. The classic mistake will be the one above.

Initially I thought he was mad, suddenly going off about food. Then I realised he was talking about DOUBTFUL debts and Charge YOU interest.

By the end of the class I was really lusting over the thought of char siew rice and taufu. =.=''

Oh yeah, FAMA isnt a new unheard agricultural bank. Its actually is: FAMA bank= Father Mother Bank.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

"The figures about how well the economy is doing now is actually fake. All the beautiful figures we see in the papers are fake. You know why? People now take loans for everything. For example like you people. During my times, there wasnt such a thing as study loans. Its either you study or you work. This is why people nowadays are so stressed. You are all coming into society with debts. And feel the burden of repaying it. Which indirectly explains why people are getting married later and later these days. They are always rushing to repay one loan after another. "

-Quote from one of the economics lecturer. I think its the macroeconomics lecturer.

Its pretty long, but I remembered it well cause what was said actually made alot of sense. Made me think for awhile actually. Most of us are already burdened with so much before we come into the work force.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

"As freshies into the work force, people will always ALWAYS ask you to do stupid things. Like making your boss's coffee. And we all know that is the coffee ladies' job. And you dont want to do that dont you? Now here are some ideas on how to make your boss drop the whole idea"
-Quote Ms Chin, Intro to Human Resource Management lecturer, Semester 3

Then she went on the tell us 3 ways which is avoided making coffee for THE boss.
1. Pretended she was busy with paper work.
2. Made the coffee too bitter.
3. Made the coffee too sweet.

I actually like her alot as a lecturer. She always had stories to tell about her experiences when she work. Three words I would describe her in would be: Sharp, witty and sarcastic. And she's so brillant she speaks almost every language imaginable except mandarin wtf.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

"Promoter is the one who does anything that is needed to form a company. So a promoter is like a mother who does anything that is needed to form her.. erm child."
(awkward pause)
-Quote Ms Anne Vergis, Company Law lecturer

Not really her exact words la, but something along the lines as this. I had to choke back a sudden impulse to laugh madly when she said it. Unintentional as it was, it came out sounding so wrong.
She must have realised it as well, cause of the momentary pause she made. Fortunately for her, everyone was too busy copying to notice it.

Abit out of character for her so say such a thing la. Cause she's really good most of the time. Cant beat them law lecturers, cause they are very sharp. You'd probably lose horribly if you got into an argument with them.

Moral of the story:
Dont mess with law lecturers.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

"BN=Barang Naik!"
-Quote This semester's Fundamentals of Finance lecturer.

He told us his student told him this one.
Yeah right.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

"Correct me if I am wrong"
-Quote Mr Johan Lim, Business Management Lecturer.

This line is a classic Johan Lim phrase. A lecture without this phrase is just not a Johan Lim lecture. I noticed he likes saying this while raising his eyebrows. Correct me if I am wrong.

About Johan Lim. Smart guy with a sense of humour. And can be sharp with his choice of words. Winked at me before when I said hi to him in the canteen. omgwtf

Initially thought he was a malay fellow due to his name. Manatau saw this fair chubby chinese guy walk into our lecture hall and declaring himself as Johan. lol

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Cant think of anything else now. Will have to try to remember more and (perhaps. Just perhaps) compile a second part to this post.

If you all recall anything interesting your past lecturers said, please tell me. I want to kehpoh.

Strikes me funny how some lecturers have more impact on us then others. Most just come and go, leaving us with tons of homework but imparting nothing to us about lessons about life. Leaving shallow footsteps in our memories which will eventually fade into oblivion..hmm

Oh yeah, I am fine already now btw.

Enough

I don’t want to feel angry.

I don’t. But I cant tolerate being so nice to them anymore. The injustice of it all leaves me flabbergasted. Shocked indeed I am of the level of selfishness displayed. Cant you guys just spare a thought for the welfare of others? I am not the pope or dalai lama. Neither I am a saint or a matryr. My patience is limited too.

I don’t want to feel frustrated

Please, stop. The echos of your voice is maddening its almost going to drive me to an asylum soon. So you might like listening to your own voice. But I dont. Now shut up and let me think. Unlike you, I actually think. Thank you very much.

I don’t want to feel confused

Getting silence as an answer is not something I am comfortable with. It’ll only make me impatient and fridgety and uncomfortable. I am an answer seeker. If only I had them now. A wicked sense of direction and plenty of security. The abilty to make decisions without second guessing so much.

I don’t want to feel jaded

And I don’t want to make other people feel jaded. But sometimes things cant be helped. Whatever it was or could have been or would have been if. Things neednt be so awkward. I understand. And I am sorry for all the things that I could have done and should have done but perhaps didn’t do. I think I suck at this whole thing.

And I dont want to feel so emo.

Who doesnt want to draw stars and smiley faces where ever they go? To see the world through a kadeilescope? To smile at random strangers on the streets? To love everything and everyone unconditionally?

Who doesnt want to be happy all the time?

But unless you have the emotional capacity to fit into a teacup or intellect that is enough to make dolphines snigger at you. I think that seems unachievable.

So many things in life convince us to do otherwise.

The Teluk Cempedak Post
also known as the kuantan post.

As promised here are the continuation of pictures taken from our class trip to cherating/kuantan/genting.

And sorry I think I had typed Kelantan instead of kuantan several posts ago. Yeah I am so blur I get kuantan and kelantan mixed up. Lol. The worst part of it all is that I just realised it.

Opps.

Anyway, on the next day after a massive failure by all to wake up at 4am to catch the sunrise due to erm weather conditions, we packed up and drove ourselves to Kuantan to kidnap visit Mr. key.

After our extremely late chinese new year visitation, we headed off to check into our hotel.

Photobucket
Which is actually a huge bungalow converted into an inn/motel/apartment thingy. But what the heckla it came cheap. Comfortable and clean*. And it had wah lai toi!

** my roommates said they saw an extra "roommate" wandering around at night that looked like me.

Sounds reasonable?

Photobucket
except for the fact that I, being such a pig, never left the bed since I hit the bed til morning.

sometimes I cant help but be thankful that I am blind without my spectacles and sleep like a pig **

Anyway, we then headed off to a popular beach in Kuantan called Teluk Cempedak. (very near the istana). But unfortunately, weather was terrible and we couldnt really get into the water as waves were huge and the red flag was hung.

But then again we saw some people surfing.
Hmm.. those people must be blissfully color blind.

So.. I took alot of pictures.
And here they are!

Batu Bersurat Teluk Cempedak.

Like a boulevard right?

Antique benches look so quaint against the backdrop of gray seas

The walkway from the main beach to .. another stretch of beach.

Photobucket
So serene lah.

Photobucket
The waves spared the rocks no mercy.

Photobucket
I will follow you.

Photobucket
I wonder which idiot did this.
In mandarin it means " I love XXXX"
then it was crossed out.

We had this feeling that whoever wrote this broke up with the person he was declaring undying love for wtf.

Photobucket
Pondok-pondoks line the walkway.

I wished I had brought kites.
but then again, they could have suffered the same unfortunate fate as the one above.

Seafood!

Came out from the beach drenched. But due to rainwater not seawater. How sad.

That night we had more seafood.
Cause in kuantan, there is nothing but seafood as well.

Fortunately, the food was better than the first day.

:D

#Regarding the elections:
Barisan won. Marginally.
There are many casualties amongst the top guns.
5 states were captured by the opposition colliation.
The biggest blow to the ruling government had seen since independence.

health minister scandal/hindraf/bersih rally/bocor/zakaria/increasing prices/crime rates/the recent mahathir-anwar tape/lingam case
and etc etc

I think the people are tired of it all.
The rakyat has spoken.
They want changes.

I hope things will change for the better.
And that everyone will remember that this is a kerajaan demokrasi berparlimen.

Malaysia, I wish you all the best.

The cherating post!
also (unofficially) known as the happy post

Okays, due to circumstances which are too unhappy for me to talk about now (as this is suppose to be a happy post) I have been unable to gain access to my second home's internet connection for even as long as an hour, thus the huuuugeeee delay in getting my digicam's pictures up.

Sorry people... unfortunate circumstances very hard to predict one.

Thankfully most of the pictures are taken with wye sun's beautiful pink sissy digicam. whew.

If not aku dah lama masuk kuburku.

Cause you see, my digicam's battery kept dying on me. Anyway, I now know why it was malfunctioning today, the camera shop guy told me it was because the battery is old.. so means my dear digicam needs new batteries.

RM100++ whey. Fuck .

Oh yeah, this is supposed to be a happy post full of happy people and happy pictures and happier happenings. Ahem.

Heres goes nothing.

A happy week ago, I went on a happy trip with some happy people who happily happen to be in my happy course and class. The happy trip lasted for three happy days. Which happily falls on the happy days of 27-29th feb.

So on the morning of the first happy day, we happily drove our way to the happy state of pahang in three happy vehicles. It took us around three happy hours to happily reach the happy place called kuantan. And another happy half an hour more to cherating.

Neh. Two of the happy rides. 2 Iswara + 1 kembara

So after the looong drive there, we arrived to our happy apartment. Which was painted in the happy color of blue.

and happily our apartment was empty. In fact the whole happy floor was happily ours cause no one goes holidaying after cny besides college students. Thus booking was just an extra precaution.

Anyway, our happy abode for the day which is supposed to house 12 happy people had three rooms, 3 toilets, a living room, a kitchen, and erm.. two balconies.

Got microwave and tv and sofa somemore okay.

The happy view of the living room from the kitchen.

And.... the happy view from the living room of the kitchen wtf.

And since our tummies werent feeling very happy due to hunger, we took off to terrengganu for lunch. Cause apparently, you cant find other kinds of food besides seafood at cherating, pahang.

Dont worry, cherating is just at the border of terengganu. We arent that happily ignorant.. cause we had a local with us.

Happy people and happy meals.
Not at McD, but at this famous coffee shop called Hai Peng.
Serves amazing coffee :) and toast.

From left: Li ching, wilson, denis, choi, key, hon guan, jian hong, happy, me, erh, wye sun and wen li

yes, someone's nickname really is happy.

Takde kaitan.
Just wanted to post this up cause of the stupid expression of wilson's face.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

After our happy meals, we drove back to cherating and hit the beach.
Amazingly, we had the whole beach to ourselves.
Talk about luck.

Euphoric
..the feel of the soft sands of the beach seeping between ones toes.

Orgasmic.
..the feeling you get when you dip your toes into the salty water.

makes people wanna jump.

and jump

and jump
(except me here cause too blur)

and grab someone when you jump.

Perhaps even prance around abit.

Then you start using sign language to profess your love towards the sea.

better still, you decide grab your lover and run around.

and fulfil life long dreams to model for billabong, roxy or tropicana life.

But then, after all that is done, people get bored and they start throwing random people into the sea.

Example:

wye sun
(why does it look like me and erh is praying to her?)

Li ching looks cornered.

hahaha like bull. try to ram her into the sea?
and this is photographic evidence of me being a lousy friend.

and .... erm me.
people at the back no "yi heii" (sense of loyalty towards friends)
Hmmph

too fat cant lift me up so call backup.
joking only okay.

they managed to dump me into south china sea not long after that.

And the traditional sand tranny.
Someone apparently is trying to stomp out the sand tranny's manhood.
How sad.

Mandarin characters for: DBU A(1) was here.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

After happily running around the beach, we went back to wash the remnants of sand from our clothing. And then headed off to a nearby restaurant to have... what else?

SEAFOOD.

Hungry beings.

Amount of rice from left:
Wen li: one and half
Happy: one and half.
Me: One and half
Jian Hong: Two and half.

-.-'''

Overall dinner wasnt too amazing.. but it wasnt too shabby as well.
But the pricing was reasonable for all. Think the price of spaghetti in Secret recipe.

Okay... thats all for cherating.
I'll get around to kuantan post soon (hopefully)

Goodnight happy people!

And so I shall blog about politics.

Vote for BN, Vote for Malaysia ”shrieked the loud hailer in mandarin as it stopped by my house this very morning, rudely awakening me from deep slumber. And the loud racket went on for half an hour despite all the swearing under my breathe, it just wont stop. The guy did pause for awhile before speaking in broken bahasa melayu though.

Which was damn sad considering that such level of language should be left to be used in the pasar pagi, not on the streets to promote your favourite party.

Besides I think the motto is damn corny. Hello? Vote for Malaysia? Such an insult to our inteligence wtf. And since when BN=Malaysia? I think we are capable of thinking on our own thank you very much.

But then again, from little kids, we were taught, again and again, that controversy is bad. And avoid it all all costs we must. Again and again we are blackmailed with the May 13 incident.

Dont break the status quo, dont ask questions. Controversy is bad, stay away at all costs.

If not, three letters for you: ISA
Whee. Thats liberty for you.

And they wonder why youth dont seem to take a healthy interest in politics. Unless of course another minister decides the mess up again lah. ahem.

Sad. Sad. Sad.

And did anyone notice BN's the only party who advertises on TV and billboards? -.-

Okayyyyss.. enough. I wish to be clean and controversy-free. A good Malaysian needs to do what a good Malaysian needs to do anyway. hehe. Here are some "interesting" pictures which I took during the kelantan trip.

There were more weird stuff but capturing them with a digicam from a moving car is impossible.

" Rakyat tidak lupa, BN TIPU yuran sekolah. Tolak BN." Okay so we dont have such a good education system compared to our southerly neighbour but for goodness sake, they are giving your kids free textbooks okay?

Malaysian politicians say the darnest things.

We saw this flag from cheranting beach.
Seriously, how mou liew can this get?

Apparently it get can more mou liew. haha
Let me introduce you to Ying Erh

and some random idoit.

Sorry la, we were really fascinated by the flag.

.........

Wouldnt you be?

When the last train home leaves with your friend.

Just awhile ago, I was lying down on my bed staring away into the vast dark space in front of me. Trying figure out the faint outlines which come in various shades of gray and black. Actually it was pretty pointless considering all I can see is shapes with my naked unspectacled eye.

Yet this temporary blindness is kinda soothing and the bed was just nicely warmed. The chilling atmosphere and the slow pitter patter of the rain adds to the effect. And the korean ballads which I stole from my sister soothes the soul despite me not understanding what each beautifully constructed note meant.

I didnt know how long I stared into the gray space just soaking in the music. For a short while I turned around and stared into that sotong sumbat kapas which I had received from my nineteenth birthday. And it stared back at me, smiling placidly, happy and contented as ever.

Despite myself, I found myself wondering why I seem to always seem to put myself in compromising positions. Like finding myself missing the last train home last night while wen li managed to somehow get in. The irony. I should have known that it was late. Then why the stupidity? It almost seemed like all the logic held in my head evaporated into space.

So I was stranded there for awhile. It was 11.30pm. Thankfully the happy wong couple (my classmates) saved me from the strangers who were probably wondering why this girl with luggage was kicking a pole with her heels in frustration while talking on her phone, as if she was demonstating against the fate that had befallen her. Gotta love them good people.

I wonder why I make such stupid decisions sometimes. Is it for the thrill? The euphoria and the high I get when I managed to beat the odds despite all that is against me? Sometimes all this risky decision pays off while sometimes they just flop like a mariah carey movie.

I've been considering so much recently that I am getting tired. To study or not? If so, where to study? When to study? The sum need to study? The overall reputation? The lecturers? How about campus life? And expenses incurred? And plotting ways to convince my mom that a college in a shopping mall is just a sad excuse for throwing money away. And I just realised that I do not like staying at home all that much anymore. I love my family. I do, but I seem to have almost gotten used to the luxury of running away to random places at really random hours without needing to explain anything much to anyone.

Yes, even if it meant missing the last train home.

Ps: I will update on kelantan/genting later. And I shall post the link to the pictures that I taken with my digicam later as well. Keep an eye on my msn msg. I think I might be going down with a fever soon.

I feel feverish now.
