The untold part of the story...

I've been spending time going through some of my posts.

Three years I've been keeping this. Three years of putting thoughts into words, and then emotions into pictures. Different phrases, different places, different faces. So many jaded stories that remain untold. The misguided steps, the silences i fall into when I dont get life, the many tears i blinked back and the unsent sms-es to morgan freeman/god's handphone number.

Of course there are even more happy short stories with which I have selfishly not shared.

Stories of smiling strangers and frowning relatives. Precious lessons acquaintances have taught me, but names which I have long forgotten. The random places I appeared at, said my hellos and introduction, stayed long enough to be accepted as someone's facebook friend.. before disappearing.

I couldnt tell you a love story but i can tell you some pick up lines you could use on the next hot person you see. I could give you tips to how to hitchhike and speak to random strangers for hours at a concert safely.

Dont know what I want to say, but dont be so quick to judge a person. This blog might be mine but they are just parts of myself I have chose to share. Just a part of the big picture I suppose.

Speaking of which, I know I promised pretty pictures but that will have to wait awhile.

Streamyx- Always coming soon. Celaka.

The reason why everyone loves captain jack sparrow

His moral compass only points to the things he really wants. No obligations, no rules. To hell with doing whats right or wrong. He just manipulates everything til he gets what he wants.

And he does all this half sober.

I just watched the first movie. It was as awesome as ever.

Next, Im going to watch Almost famous. The scene in the bus- the one where Penny Lane does this wavy thing with her hand and tells Micheal, "you are home" is just precious :)

Who shot the arrow through your throat, who missed the crimson apple?

Dont regret what you left to whither away. Some things are more permanent than you think.

Dear Blog,

Since I never really understood how people can indulge in talks about themselves and what they did over the weekend, I shall indulge myself with talks of myself in this post. Just because I am bored and have nothing to talk about, except myself.

*count the amount of I,me, and myself starting now*

Okay I shall talk about my weekend.

On saturday I woke up, brushed my teeeth (from the outer top right to the outer top left then i spit, then start brushing from the inner top right and make my way to the outer top left, spit. Then the same procedure on the bottom teeth. If toothpaste is insufficient at any point of brushing, I add toothpaste and proceed), when to toilet to bathe, then decided not to poke myself in both eyes cause I ter-slept with my contact lense til 3am. Which is an absolutely stupid thing to do. kids, dont do this you can go blind.

I went to work for half a day, I dont want to talk about this cause it involves alot of staring at the pc and me pretending to be busy as to avoid more work (which is already, alot. So yeah)

Went off to classes. 4 hours of listening to the most interesting finance lecturer i have came across ever in my life. Its hard not to listen to him cause he's the most quotable person I have met. He incorporates finance into real life all the time.

"the two biggest liabilities in life- cars and women"

See?

I met a girl in my class, she's really sweet, she's planning to marry next year. She has been with her bf for 5 years. She's 23. So I was wondering hmm am I missing something here? Then again, thats another story.

Anyway, classes over and I wanted to rush back cause well, there was some news of a riot in KL center. As I headed to masjid jamek I realized something was very amiss. Very amiss. The air smelled funny. I sneezed. People were running in my direction. I looked up. I sneezed. Oh some cops thought it'd be fun to throw tear gas and spray water at the ISA protestors.

So yeah fyi, tear gas doesnt make you tear. In my case, they made me sneeze. Maybe Im allergic to them.

The station was closed down. Bummer, cant these people protest and leave the commuters in peace?

Wanted to stay and watch but the protesters were running in my way. I didnt want to get in the way of the law. Neither did my friend, she grabbed me and we walked off to pasar seni station.

I didnt get lost :D

Met my sister at the lrt station and we had dinner.

Us.

We had my favourite pan mee in wangsa maju- SSL. Its awesome, really really awesome. Then we went off to the cyber cafe near our place cause my stupid housemates have been procrastinating so much on the internet issue for so long. Then after that, I went back, took a bath (long one) read a book (tom holt, tall stories) and went to sleep.

So that was Saturday.

On Sunday, I woke up at almost 12 pm. Took a bath, had breakfast at 12.30pm. And went to the pc fair with my sis. We walked around abit and I was tempted to head over to the camera counters and ask the prices, and it was good. Really tempted. Went to annoy my housemate at work (how is business today eh?) I walked around abit more, applied the internet line cause i need to have internet at home because i have no social life/ im such a nerd/and although drunk people are interesting to watch, i dont like drunk people because they are generally stupid. And horny. And puke on you after they had a 9 course dinner

Anyway, after that, had lunch at mcdonald. KLCC was packed, the food court even more so. Sat next to a family who didnt talk to each other, it was depressing, everyone was looking in different dierections :(

Walked around KLCC for awhile, all the while wondering whether to buy, not to buy, buy, not to buy, asked friend, buy, not to buy, buy, not to buy. called friend. buy. not to buy.

So...

One resolution down :D
Decided not to procrastinate anymore. It never got anyone, anywhere, anyway. Nike, just do it.

Dear mom, when I grow up I want to shoot album covers for rock gods.
(stolen off lookbook)

Went back home, mamak. now at cyber cafe again. Next week I shall have internet at home and wont have to sit here amidst dota crazed teenagers (arrgh kena pwwwned!!)

So yes, dear people this is how my weekend went.
It was good.

And dont ever expect me to be so lengthy in future. Talking about myself in detail is so tiring. Besides, my regular weekends dont usually turn out anywhere close to interesting anyway.

Love,
MK
