Lately there has been this deluge of pictures here. Although I had always had an affinity with words, which is odd, considering I still cant tell the difference between simple past perfect tense, past prefect tense and whatnot, I find that there are some things that happened and is happening in my life which I cant truly express in words here. Coherency failed.
Sounds vair melodramatic i know. Yawn.
Anyway, this post is dedicated to the power of words and pictures. Different forms of expression, each effective in different ways, depending on how it is used and the skill of the user. Since I do not want to
1) talk about myself
2) berplato kao kao.
3) bitch about people
4) be vain
So...here are some unphotographable moments I came across recently. Here goes.

This is a picture I did not take of an old hobo lying on his box, on the sidewalk of a road during a heavy thunderstorm. There was lightning. A blurry of movements belonging to heavy traffic in the background. A few people under colorful umbrellas with hurried footsteps and crouched backs rushed by, oblivious of a homeless man lying alone in the rain, staring at the sky with an expression of utter hopelessness.
This is a picture I did not take of a couple from the back view in a crowded shopping mall during a weekend, their hair were silver with age and balding in places. The man walked with a slight hunch. Yet, their fingers intertwine each other, both their forth fingers spotting identical wedding rings. Timelessness at its best.
This is a picture I did not take of a single mother who was walking along with her three kids in park on a public holiday, they were all wearing identical and extremely gawdy pokemon t shirts, eating ice cream, smiling and laughing, oblivious to the weird stares everyone was giving them due to their weird fashion sense.
The truth is that, I could spend the day people watching, not talking to anyone, and still be perfectly contented. It beats spending a whole day in the company of people who stay together because they are too scared to be seen alone, too insecure to want people's acknowledgment on the things they do, too blind to realize that half the things they do arent really what they want-they are just pleasing the people around them.
Sometimes, I think we are all in a rat race with lost sheep. Ironic.
