Merry Christmas? Lonely christmas?

Christmas,the season of hope,love and joy.
the season of pretty ornaments and even prettier santarinas,
season of towering plastic christmas trees and sales,
season of presents and gifts.
the season to hide your worries under the chrismas hat and pretend that they do not exist?

Ever heard of the phrase that it is christmas everyday when you are happy?
Corny? yes. But yes it is all so true.
You dont need plastic trees and an even more plastic angel on top of the tree to make you glow in a almost holy,luminous sheen like an SK 2 model.

Logging on to msn today, I noticed something interesting.
At least 8 people have put "lonely christmas" as their display name.
I wonder why?
Peer pressure?
Does it take another half to make christmas less lonely?
Don't tell me being with friends and family means nothing?
Christmas is after all not valentine.
It's about being happy and glad that you can celebrate it with the ones you care the most.

It's not about ego.
neither it is a competition,
or a material race.

Sometimes, we tend to complicate the simplest matters.
