ATTENTION dear people of planet earth!
I have an announcement that is shocking and yet oh so true.

I am studying BUSINESS.

Yes. Busy-ness. I walk around with thick account notes, go to business informatics systems and application lectures, do quantitave calculations and yes, pretend to read the economics section of star paper every morning at home just so to impress my parents. okay, the last statement is partially fake. I DO attempt to read the business section but gave up due to boredom. AND I DONT read it in front of my parents

So yes my dearest-est people, please take note of the fact or I shall spontaneously combust into a pile of ashes one of these days. Or bite down hard on my tongue.

I dont get it.
Why do people AUTOMATICALLY assume that I study PR?? Or advertising?

Common senario
Some person: what are you studying ar?
emseekwhy: guess
Some person: PR?
emseekwhy: no... guess again!
Some person: Advertising?
emseekwhy: NO NO No!! I study business administration
Some person: dont kid me la.. !!
emseekwhy: =.= 'Really la.. why?
Some person: You have the 'look'. Aiya.. cannot explain.


ahem. before I go any further let me elaborate on the dress styles of the various school in TARC. Really, there is a 'look' which is observed by certain schools.

School Of Social Science and Humanities- Three words: Daring, colorful and bright.Accesories are vital.
School of Business Studies- Moderately dressed. Colorful t-shirt and jeans.
School of Science and Arts and School of Technology- cincai dressers. Any t-shirt and jeans will do.
School of Pre-U- Rojak.


Look???!
wahlao.. This is not good. I look PR-like??! I was even asked to be PR sub-committee for FAU nite. Is this enough proof? This is serious, I dont look business like enough! Preventive actions need to be taken before people dont start taking me seriously enough and bosses will not hire me cause my look lack professionalism of business students! DANG!

Come to think of it, people tend to read me wrongly strangely enough. Let me elaborate:

**ONE
Myth:I study in SSH. Preferable PR or Advertising.
Fact: I study in SBS, Business Administration. Aspiring Mickey Gates.

**TWO
Myth: I am partially chinese, malay, thai or portugese.People speak thai to me in Kelantan! or I think if I run around with a tudung, ulamaks will drag me to a mosque! alamak!!
Fact: Although I can read and write Jawi,I am chinese. My blood is as tulen as air suling.

**THREE
Myth: I am studying advanced diploma, first year.
Truth: I am studying diploma, first year.

**FOUR
Myth: I am a banana. With little or no knowledge of mandarin.
Truth: I can read and write mandarin. (albeit primary level)

**FIVE
Myth: I am 21 years old. Explains why salespeople keep throwing housing and credit card broshures at me.. (I have a 75% passing rate to masuk casino =P)
Truth: I will be 19 next month. Bloody hell. Prematurely old.

They say never judge a book by the cover. Guess it really does apply to me.
