Regarding of shifting of houses and holidays
Look out your window, do you see little kids running around happily? Happy couples holding hands? A cute puppy sleeping cosily amongst the bushes? A rainbow perhaps?
Neither do I, but heck, I am so happy that exams are finally over and that I am viewing the world temporarily mind you through rose colored glass.
Goodbye Semester two, with your dismiss, another semester of my college life is gone. You have been so trilling and so full of surprises. And yes, so fleeting.
Okay. Enough of so much deep stuff.
Today, I am going to blog about shifting houses.
Shifting houses can be tiring, frustrating and time consuming, especially if it is done in the TBR area. And especially if it is done by a choosy, picky, sometimes stubborn proud person who cant seem to accept people's help. aka me. So many people asked me to shift in with them. But for some damn reason I keep holding back. Until the last minute..Why? Am I being too untrusting? Or do I value my independence too much? I am scared of being alone but too proud to admit it. dammit. I am an idoit.
Yeah. I am shifting house. Today is the last day I sleep here. Yesterday was mei wei's last day. ISH. sounds like she died liao Yes, yesterday marked the last day we spent together as roommates.
I may look like a moron in this picture. Yet I like it so much.
Ok.. back to the topic. If you are a tarc student, there are alot of places you can call your humble abode. Here are some of the favourite places:
First, there is Taman Bunga Raya, the place where I am staying. It is located so close to tarc that even if you walk out of your house at the time your class starts, you'd still be able to reach the lecture hall in time to see the lecturer arrange his/her notes before starting a topic. frequently guilty as accused However, there is a price to pay for convienience, the living conditions are a bit.. how to put it? Dingy la. In addition, it is rather dangerous.Finding a comfortable room is as hard as looking for a needle in a haystack. According to my friends, TBR is a place for the lazy.
Then there is Wangsa Maju. Located nearby as well. On the upside, there is alot of things to eat. There is even a LRT station. On the other hand, it is rather dangerous. Then again, which part of KL aisnt? Therefore, many say wangsa maju is a place for the greedy.
Melati Utama is a place what people like to call, "ho tai min ho sek" (in cantonese:Nice to see but not nice to eat) The living conditions are simply amazing, reminding you of rental apartments, with gyms and swimming pools. Yes, there is even a guardhouse. borrowed word from angelin: shibby! However, there is almost nothing to eat there. My friends staying there survive on a diet of maggi mee and mamak food. Transportation is limited. Thus the saying that MU is the place for people who like glamour. if I have my own car, i'd probably live there. I am quite a pig, cant live without food for several hours
Genting Klang, according to many, is a place for rich AND greedy people. The rental is expensive and there are many shops. ALOT OF GLORIOUS FOOD. SERIOUSLY, name a local dish I can't find in Genting klang and I'd go vegetarian for a week. haha.. Mei Wei told me she'll grow fat after shifting there.. lets see la In addition, buses to many shopping malls frequently come.
In conclusion,
I still prefer TBR. Cause I am lazy and I that I am cincai.
I'd shift to Melati Utama if I had a car.even my concience tells me to dream on
Thus, I shall be shifting to TBR also next semester.
Same row, different house. lol
Gosh, I am missing home now.
A place I can eat like a pig without caring what time it is.
A place where I can blast music in my room without a care.
A place I do not need to worry about what to eat.
A place where I do not need to spend a single cent.
I miss the sofa.
I miss my dog.
I miss everything.
Thank god I will be going back later today =)
Home sweet home.
