Looking ahead yet remembering yesterdays
I have a weird habit.
I like observing people in the Lrt.
Now I am starting to take pictures of them.
And write blog entries about them.
Oh. My. Goodness.
Took this picture on the way back to klang several days ago. Somehow, something about her made me pay attention to her. Perhaps it was the way she entered the Lrt- with such heavy steps then proceeded to clutch the rail of the Lrt so hard as if that if she let go, everything in her life would turn into indistinguishable ashes. She never looked backed or even around but choose to just stare stubbornly ahead at the blurry scenery, as if silently prompting the Lrt to reach her destination as fast as possible. She hopped off the Lrt as soon as the door opened. Such a contrast. To walk in with such heavy steps and to hop off happily.
As if she wanted to leave something behind so much. It was like she wanted to escape from her current situation and just get on with the future.
Sometimes, we do feel that way. Dont we?
I know it's illegal and I could be sued if the girl in the picture found out that her picture posted in the world wide web. As if there is the remote chance of her stumbling over my blog, stare at the picture long enough to realise that it's HER and go "OMGWTF! That's ME!!"
What are the chances?
Besides, its quite a pretty picture dont you think?

hey. that is a nice picture. and i like your description of it. i think she just want to break out or something.. judging from the way she's gripping the lrt pole.. so firm and hard.. maybe she has seomthing to show the world...
sigh.
btw, welcome to the itakepicturesofpeoplewithoutasking club!!
OMG! U actually do something like tat? I wonder if anyone took my pic wen i took LRT 2 balik kampung each week...
Hmm... actually the girl's situation was exactly like me wen i took LRT balik kampung alone.
Oh gosh! Guess wut, i did take other ppl's pics in the train, recently:
A) A lonely Malay lady looking at her hp sadly.
B) A guy hugging his Bank Negara's backpack, having a short nap in the train.
I pretended browsing my phone and then take their pics when they did not notice me. Gosh, i'm getting weird! However, most of the time i just observe the ppl around me without taking pics as kl folk seems to be mad easily... hehe..
Hmm.. Looking forward to see u in train next time, and then we might take each other's pics without knowing each other's identity (since we haven't met before).
Yea, this could happen. Still remember both of us like melted cheddar? =p
oh, btw, perhaps that girl was thinking about m&m's choc.
Mahukan M&M, siapa nak M&M...
cheese in any form is delicious =)
LOL. I also pretend to be browsing my [hone when I wanna snap pictures of people. Unfortunately, when i was taking this particular picture, I forgot to set my phone to silent mode. So yeah, my phone went 'snap!'. Causing several ppl to stare at me like i am deranged person.
So I pretended to look somewhere else lo. (as if it wasnt MY fault) haha!
It'd be really funny if you actually took a picture of me by mistake. I can imagine the caption now "strange girl of mysterious parentage secretly taking pictures of other passengers"
hmm.. maybe we should meet. Just so to avoid such future occurance.
hm, good idea. :)
